Daub + Design is committed to the idea of shared studio equipment and space for textile artists. The focus of the studio is dyeing and silk screening. Our studio is available for short-term rental on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. Located in Gastown, our studio is right around the corner from staple stores such as Dress Sew, Designer Fabrics and Opus Framing & Art Supplies.

Base rates include use of basic equipment. This base rate does not include use of our supplies such as dyes, pigments, stabilizer etc. You are welcome to bring your own or purchase supplies from us. Dress Sew, Designer Fabrics and Opus are right around the corner. Instruction on techniques is not part of this base rate. To use any of the sewing machines, you must have a one-on-one demonstration to ensure proper usage and care of machine.

Student rates are available for Capilano University Textile Arts Graduates and Emily Carr University Students who have taken the Intro to Silkscreen course 200 level.

Daub + Design welcomes collaborations between us and other designers. If you have an idea for fabric or a garment you’d like to execute with us, please contact us.
