STORE SPOTLIGHT: Ardith Style in Toronto

We're wishing our friend, Daub + Design retailer, and Toronto-based communications strategist and fitness enthusiast Miranda Bryden the absolute best this week as she realizes a life-long dream: her active lifestyle store for women opens at 373 Roncesvalles Avenue (formerly Lady Toronto Exclusives). For Bryden, the boutique is about more than the product, it's about promoting self-empowerment and motivating women to get out and do something positive for their bodies. Inspired by and named after her 91 year-old grandmother, “Ardith” is designed and merchandised by Parkdale stylist Reva Quam, whose long list of credits include Chatelaine, Canadian Living, and Tegan & Sara.

The "real" Ardith exuded a simple, stripped-down femininity around which Bryden has curated the boutique's selection of exclusive, hard-to-find labels like Lucas Hugh, Travis Taddeo and Michi. Dedicated to movement, versatility and design, “Ardith” also stocks everything from headphones to natural health and beauty products, as well as Hoi Bo bags, Wildhagen hats, S’well water bottles and Coco’s Frosting Shack necklaces; helping the active and attractive find classic staples that cover every aspect of wellbeing and can easily go from working out to the street. It's Bryden's firm belief that what you wear can change your attitude; because if you look good, you feel good. So before your next spin or yoga class, power walk or coffee date, check out the new generation of workout and lifestyle apparel.
